He has resided in the Isle of Man since 2007 and is admitted to practice law in England and Wales, Hong Kong and the State of Victoria in Australia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Throughout his career, lawyer Taylor has dealt exclusively with international (cross-border) litigation, mainly in relation to the maritime, aviation and insurance sectors. He started practice (1974) at a major London firm and later moved to Hong Kong for 11 years (1980-1991), where he held senior positions, including Managing Partner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In 2007, he was invited to become Of Counsel to a major class action law firm based in San Francisco, with whom he worked for two years to develop a specialised aviation practice. Nigel Taylor is also Of Counsel to specialised class action law firms in Hong Kong and California.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
He was the founder and first president of the Global Justice Network.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Since moving to the Isle of Man in 2007, lawyer Taylor has invested in a number of ventures ranging from law firm start-ups, litigation funding, hotel business, real estate and IT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Lawyer Taylor was also very interested in the development of third-party litigation funding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
