The law firm SQ-WATT Legal is a leader in class actions in Belgium (e.g. cases such as Fortis, NBB, Assubel-Allianz, KBC Ancora...) and also specialises in complex litigation with a high economic, political, environmental and/or social impact (listed companies, corporate governance, banking and financial supervision, public economy, social conflicts), including European law (transposition in Belgium of the Treaty on Stability, Coordination and Governance, EU-related frauds - Emission Trading System...) and accompanies private individuals, public services and SMEs in this area.
Lawyer Geert G.R. Lenssens is the principal partner of the Brussels-based law firm SQ- WATT. He is a co-founder, former director and active member of the LNA Network (London), a board member of the Global Justice Network GJN (Switzerland) and a member of the litigation commission of the UIA (Paris).
Lawyer Geert G.R. Lenssens has more than 30 years of experience in national and international litigation and also has extensive experience as a Deputy Judge (Commercial Court) and as a business mediator. This experience results in exceptional expertise that creates a three-dimensional view of legal issues.
Its areas of legal practice include all types of white-collar crime and fraud, banking, insurance, corporate and commercial actions, as well as mass and class actions where it has successfully recovered substantial damages for its clients (companies or consumers) or protected companies from liability issues.

Lenssens is and has been involved in some of the largest mass litigation cases against large corporations, such as the Volkswagen Dieselgate case, the FNG dossiers, the LHSP case, the Citibank case, the Delta Lloyd case, the Fortis case, the ARCO case and recently the PFOS - PFAS case, representing thousands of claimants. He handles all aspects of litigation and non-contentious work and advises companies and their boards of directors, often on a permanent but discrete basis.
